From 3 to 5 November 2026, Vaselife International will be exhibiting at the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands. Connecting the international flower industry
IFTF is one of the key international meeting points for the floriculture industry, bringing together growers, exporters, importers, wholesalers, buyers and suppliers from around the world.
For Vaselife, it is a great opportunity to connect with industry partners, exchange ideas and present our latest developments in flower care. This year, we are especially pleased to introduce two innovations focused on protecting flower quality and improving sustainability.
Two innovations to discover
1. PCR 35+ packaging – Already meeting the EU's 2030 recycled content target
Our new cut flower food sachets are made from mono-material polyethylene (mono-PE) film containing 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.
By reducing the use of virgin plastic while maintaining product performance, this packaging represents another step towards more sustainable flower care. With 35% recycled content, it already meets the EU's 2030 recycled-content target for the category of other plastic packaging, ahead of the planned deadline.
2. New and improved protection against Botrytis in roses
We are also introducing a newly developed pre-treatment solution specifically designed to help protect roses against Botrytis (grey mould), one of the major challenges affecting rose quality and vase life.
With an improved formulation, this new product is designed to reduce the risk of Botrytis development after harvest, helping growers and other professionals maintain flower quality and reduce losses throughout the supply chain.
